I did not mean to take an entire month off from writing, but that's how it goes. I was fortunate to be able to take multiple trips to see family, and spend a whole lot of time with my baby girl (now nearly 5 months old) so I've very much enjoyed the past few weeks.
I've taken no time off of living stoically, but I've had little time to dwell on specifics in a way that's worth sharing with others. I've been reading and enjoying Donald Robertson's Stoicism and the Art of Happiness. I recommend it and expect to write a full review soon. Otherwise, I've been thinking about what makes a person a modern Stoic as opposed to a person who makes use of some stoic techniques. Those thoughts will probably become my next post assuming I get my writing mind in gear.
In any case, I hope you have been content and joyful in the new year. Thanks for continuing to check up on me.
